The Fresh cut flower market is traditionally been here at the rivers edge.

It has been moved around in resent years with building a car park and Chinese temple but it survise as it is part of the community.

The Flower market is located in front of the Maeping police station and one block up stream. It is a permanent flower market that is where hill tribes and farmers come to sell their cut flowers to vendors who then sell to anyone from the hotels and young lovers. It is open to various degrees 24 hours a day. Well worth the trip for photo taking this is a common thing for bankokian Thais to do.

The people are often asleep as the delivers may come in at 4:00am and the selling goes on in the day and evening. The people by no means are the richest but they are hard working and honest.

The flowers very much depend on the season and the weather. So every time of year the color change there. But almost always there are flowers except when the hill tribes have their festivals then the pickings can be slim. But during graduation time it is a show of pre made arrangements that is truly beautiful.

So be sure to stop by and treat yourself or better still your love to a small symbol of your love.
