The river has an enticement of it's own. Open spaces complimented by nature is part of the comfortable dining atmosphere. It is important not to ""judge a book" or this restaurant by it's cover. The front entrance can be deceptive. The corridor opens into several dining areas and eventually leads to the main dining section located near the waters edge. They serve large groups and private parties. This restaurant is frequented by Thai nationals; however, some Farangs have discovered the great food and pleasant staff. To experience is to know and to know . . . is a wonderful experience in deed.
Bahn Ahan Thai offers a wide range of Northern and Traditional Thai food. The portions are generous and have a nice presentation. Because most of the dishes are ordered separately, this affords the individual the opportunity to sample a wide variety of items and enjoy an exquisite meal. Might I mention, they make a wonderful Thai salad
The person that has a venturesome spirit is probably the individual who will enjoy this type of establishment the most. Truly, the spices of life will be intrigued and the palate will be satiated by Thai cooking at it's best.
