Aroon is a safe haven for Farangs who are searching for something
familiar and soothing for the palate. Aroon is located just outside
the " Bar District" near Tapae Gate. They serve great
food in generous portions for a fair price.
They offer a menu of Chinese and Northern Thai specialties. I
swear, one of the appetizers, fried chicken, tastes just like
the Southern Cooking I have enjoyed most of my life. Everyone
from Tuk-tuk drivers to distinguished business people know and
visit this place. Don't forget, fresh fruit and especially mango's
with sweet sticky rice, a local favorite is served here.
