The Banyan Tree Club & Laguna is cradled within a surrounding mountain range within the Laguna Development. The greens are cut out of the sand hills near the water and golfers enjoy views of beautiful Bang Tao Bay and the Andaman Sea as they play the through the course.

The less demanding front nine holes pass through a former coconut plantation and any of the fairways and greens are bounded by large picturesque lagoons. The second nine poses more challenging holes, the par-3 11th hole being particularly difficult.

The clubhouse and hotel facilities are of the highest level and facilities include a driving range, pitching green and the largest putting green in all Thailand. Deluxe locker room facilities for men and lady golfers and a good full menu restaurant. The Pro Shop is well stocked with retail and rental equipment as well as signature apparel.
